Yes, we have slightly increased the prices compared to the previous year.

The reasons for this are as follows:

In 2025 we held the event for the first time and put a lot on volunteer work. For example, the musicians and DJs have received little or no fee at all.

We would like to handle this differently in 2026, because we think that it is precisely the musicians and DJs who enrich our marathon so much and want to honour this appropriately.

In addition, the cost of accommodation in the hotel has increased compared to 2025. The Scuol Palace now has a spa area, which is fully operational and also offers us prices this year, which vary according to the type and size of the room. We have therefore decided to advertise the larger rooms accordingly more expensive, so that the hotel also earns enough on our event.

That is why there are 2 categories of double rooms, the more expensive rooms have significantly larger rooms, and some also have a balcony.

So we hope for your understanding for the higher prices & hope that those of you who can afford the more expensive rooms will choose the more expensive category. This leaves enough inexpensive rooms for people who have a slightly narrower budget and still want to participate in our marathon.

If you do not have the full pass, but the Milonga pass, so you want to organize your accommodation yourself, there are several options in and around Scuol. Here are a few ideas:

We recommend that you do not book your accommodation until the end of June 26, because until this time we reserve the right to cancel our marathon if there are too few registrations.

In the event of a cancellation, we will of course refund your costs for the Milonga Pass in full, but NO other costs such as accommodation, train tickets or the like.

Unfortunately, this is not possible for the time being. We would like to offer a joint event and it would be nice if we could experience this marathon together if possible.

However, there is one exception: the Scuol Palace describes itself as a cultural hotel and so at least Saturday evening should be accessible to locals, so that they can also enjoy the live music together with us as part of our marathon.

We do everything we can to ensure that the marathon takes place. If it becomes apparent by the beginning of June that we will not reach the necessary number of participants, we would reserve the right to announce the occasion. After the success in 2025, however, we are very confident that we will organise the marathon.

Of course, in the event of a cancellation, we will refund your contributions, but no additional costs incurred by you. Therefore, please wait to book e.g. train trips until we inform you by e-mail about the status of the implementation towards the end of June 2026.

If you arrive earlier or want to stay longer, you are responsible for booking more nights yourself. Scuol offers many accommodations, and certainly rooms would also be available in the Scuol Palace.

That's a pitty! Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee you a refund, as we have very high fixed costs with room rental, live music etc. Nevertheless, it may be possible that our budget allows a (partial) refund.

Yes, that is possible, please organize the additional overnight stays yourself. Either directly with the Scuol Palace or with the accommodation of your choice. If you order the Full-Pass, two nights (Fri-Sun) are included.

In 2025 this was possible, but for us as organisers the experiences were not so good. On the one hand, only a few have made use of this possibility, but on our side generated a lot of effort in the room allocation. And it also didn't fit financially, because with a half-full double room (i.e. if a woman or a man didn't register enough for the shared double room) we had to pay the hotel the full double room price. Which was a loss-making business for us.

But: you are welcome to contact us if you are alone for the time being. As soon as another (same-sex person) contacts us, we would 'bring you together' so that you can register together for a double room.

Please be aware that until such a 'match' takes place, you are NOT registered and, if there are no more rooms for a match, unfortunately cannot participate.

To be honest, we therefore recommend that you book a single room from the beginning and record your desire for a shared room in the comments. If there is someone who would also like to share, we can possibly organise you in the same room. And then pay you back the difference (single versus double room).

Yes! The Swiss Federal Railways (SBB) offer savings tickets if you book early. We recommend a booking only from mid-June, as we reserve the right to cancel the marathon until the end of June 26 if there are too few registrations. In case of cancellation, we can NOT refund train tickets, but we will of course refund your full or Milonga pass.

Yes, the hotel has its own free parking.

Although Scuol is not exactly centrally located, it can be reached very well and quite quickly. Depending on where you are coming from, the car loading through the Vereina tunnel offers itself. Or the ride over one of the beautiful passes.
